What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Teacher - Middle School position at U-32?
WCUUSD is looking for a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic educator to join U-32's English Department as a full-time Middle School English Language Arts teacher working as part of a core team of 7th and 8th grade teachers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan, organize, and implement a proficiency-based instructional program, and have experience in project-based and interdisciplinary teaching. Must be able to work creatively and collaboratively to create an environment that invites respect for all persons, relate a sense of fairness, and practice commitment to inclusion and diversity. This position also includes responsibilities as the Teacher Advisor for 8-10 students.
The 720-student, 7-12 school is located on a beautiful hilltop campus in Central Vermont. U-32 is an individualistic, student-centered school with an outstanding reputation in academics, athletics, and the arts.
