Position: Integrated Marketing Manager
Reports to: Marketing Director
Raymour & Flanigan is the Northeast's largest and most trusted furniture and mattress retailer with 140 locations and an evolving e-commerce platform. The privately-held company has grown its store count by over 30% in the past three years and is committed to continue growth. The company is currently investing heavily in its existing footprint of stores, recently created Outlet channel and rapidly growing digital presence.
The Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the development and implementation of customer centric omni-channel marketing campaigns for Raymour & Flanigan, with a focus on seasonal planning, promotional offer strategy, campaign development, and omni-services. The ideal candidate is passionate about retail marketing and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail and follow-through.
In collaboration with the Marketing team and key company stakeholders, the Integrated Marketing Manager will:
Responsibilities
- Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that translate marketing objectives and strategies into successful tactics aimed at driving customer engagement and supporting the overall corporate initiatives.
- In partnership with the Project Management Team, drive the marketing planning process. Facilitate planning meetings, develop planning materials, and ensure planning milestones are met. Work to ensure strong communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Leverage thought leaders, industry trends, consumer insights, and data to guide seasonal direction for the integrated marketing planning process. Develop integrated marketing plans, campaigns, and content theme/topic ideas that are relevant to consumers and support our brand.
- Support the ongoing development of our brand identity with an appropriate mix of brand messaging in conjunction with traffic driving promotional content.
- Collaborate and align with cross-functional teams on promotional offer structures/planning and create strategies which bring these to life across the marketing channels. Develop a value calendar through the lens of the overall marketing objectives and customer value proposition.
- Develop marketing plans to drive omni services and programs (3-day delivery, Raymour for Business, Platinum, etc..) and work with cross functional teams on developing compelling customer facing messages and testing opportunities to grow adoption and retention.
- Write compelling creative briefs and assist in the development of impactful channel plans with a cohesive messaging strategy across all Raymour & Flanigan marketing vehicles.
- Partner closely with creative, operations and project management to ensure channels are successfully executed from strategy through to execution.
- Ensure that plans are delivered on time and on budget. Maintain and track monthly budget as needed and collaborate on yearly planning.
- Coordinate external resources (agency support and freelancers) and internal partners to create campaign elements as needed.
- Contribute to reporting/measurement/analysis of events, programs, and initiatives to develop facts and tools that assist with future strategizing, planning and decision-making.
- Identify and initiate methods to improve the marketing operations process and ideas to champion change.
- Be a driver of innovation and experimentation around new technologies, channels, messaging, and tactics that can be applied to meet marketing objectives. Support the development of a test and learn agenda to drive ongoing learning and optimization. Communicate marketing and testing objectives, results, and major insights to gain alignment with key constituents.
- Manage and execute additional marketing programs as assigned.
Requirements/Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 7 years of relevant job experience.
- Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with internal/external partners and key stakeholders
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade others with diplomacy and tact; work with numerous partners of differing levels, flexing interaction style as required
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret sales and marketing data, and developing and implementing successful testing agendas
- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Resourceful, proactive, and highly motivated
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills; ability to work independently
