About the Position: Serves as Product Support Manager (PSM) for the assigned acquisition program reporting directly to the Program Executive Officer, Program Manager, Product Manager or Product Director.

To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-03/GS-13) position in the federal service.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the NH-03/GS-13 level in the federal service which includes: 1) Providing overall direction for the development and implementation of a comprehensive product support strategy for the materiel system throughout the system life cycle; 2) Conducting appropriate cost analyses to validate a product support strategy as outlined in documents such as Office of Management and Budget Circular A-94; 3) Developing performance metrics for product support arrangements and product support functions; and 4) Preparing, briefing, and defending systems decision papers or other decision documents at each milestone or IPR in the life cycle of the project.
