Clarification from the agency
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Duties- Works under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed.
- This position is basically waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, café or bar operations.
- Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders.
- Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages.
- Stands, walks, and stoops and stretches, usually for long period of time, handling food and beverage trays and food containers, seldom weighing more than 40 pounds.
Conditions of Employment- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

- Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.

- Must meet the state/local age requirement (18 yrs old) for the serving of alcoholic beverages, if alcoholic beverages served.
- Work primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation.
- Danger of slipping on wet or polished floors.
- May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal functions.
- Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

- Minimum Qualifications:
- Must meet the state/local age requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages, (18 years old).
- No prior training or work experience required.
- Must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions.
- Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend, walk and do moderate lifting for long periods of time.
- Must be able to hear the conversational voice.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
