About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, Army Reserve G-1, Services and Support Division, Integrated Prevention Advisory Group (I-PAG) located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Who May Apply: US CitizensIn order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirements:
A. Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.or
B. Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes working with large complex data sets and performing extensive analysis of volumes of analysis of volumes of data sufficient to design and deliver frameworks to facilitate data development lifecycle and design; applying broad areas of research, statistics, mathematics, modeling, data science, machine learning, and optimization, sufficient to serve as a consultant and technical advisor; and translating analyses into recommendations, and provide written report. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
