ABOUT THIS JOB
THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE
As a first step toward becoming an Infantryman, youll train in the use of small arms, anti-tank, and other weapons systems.
You will be responsible for capturing, destroying, and repelling enemy ground
forces during missions. This is also the starting point for many advanced schools, such as Special Forces, Airborne School, Ranger School, Sniper School, and Pathfinder School.
Skills youll learn align with Evasion, Physical & Mental Strength and Weapons Operations. In addition, you could earn 10 nationally recognized certifications!
JOB DUTIES
- Defend the country against any threat by land
- Capture, destroy and repel enemy ground forces during combat

REQUIREMENTS
- 22 weeks of Infantry One Station Unit Training
- U.S. Citizen
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
