Job Description

SUMMARY

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly effective and dynamic individual to lead our Personal Trust Account Closing team to drive operational efficiency and positive partner engagement through customer-focused solutions. Incumbent will collaborate with internal operations partners and business line partners to drive an enterprise approach to solve key customer challenges. This position will lead a team of account closing professionals helping them foster strong subject matter expertise in account closing procedures and processes. Success will be measured through delivery against SLAs, effective and proactive risk mitigation efforts, strong partnered approach to drive client satisfaction and effective team leadership to drive employee performance and engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and coordinates the operational activities for assigned functional areas/regions. Ensures quality service and effective operations support for all of the assigned internal and external customers. Accomplishes results through the effective management of staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals. Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Participates in the review and recommendation of operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, coordinating system conversions from an operations perspective.

REQUIRED
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

PREFERRED

  • Considerable knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
  • In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
  • Strong organizational, managerial and project management skills
  • Well-developed customer relations skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Thorough knowledge of trust administration
  • CTFA designation

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
