Job Description

U.S. Bank National Association is hiring for the position of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Evaluations and Risk Assessment Manager. This position leads a team reporting into a TPRM Director. In this role, collaboration, partnership, risk mentality and strong leadership is key. The leader will direct a team responsible for executing necessary evaluations and risk assessments of our Third Party Vendors, as well as support internal and external business line reviews of key risk components of our vendors. The right person for this role will become a subject matter expert in the current processes and be agile and have a mindset for change and growth to challenge the status quo. This leader will need to be able to build and foster cross functional relationships internal in TPRM, but also our supporting groups in Privacy, Information Security, Cyber, Compliance, Risk, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically more than 10 years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Significant experience in all aspects of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program management and understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact the bank

  • Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated success in achieving organizational objectives through partnership and influence.

  • Understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate with and empower teams.

  • Skills needed to manage stressful situations.

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong partnership and relationship building within RM&C, Operational Risk, Risk & Control Specialist groups, Technology partners and across BLs and BL CRO teams to meet business and company objectives through use of Third Parties.

  • Effectively issue and challenge findings that are either needed or have been assigned to our Third Party vendors.

  • Ability to analyze, plan, and manage team through workload needs

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
