Job Description

U.S. Bank is hiring a Design Operations Project Manager. Reporting to the Design Business Management Leader, this individual will be aligned to a Segment Head of Design to enable strategies, build consistent practices and drive priority execution.

  • Defines implementation of strategic design initiatives that improve the broader design org as well as product team efficiency and impact
  • Partners with peers, designers and others to ensure progress towards OKRs
  • Defines and measures impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Continually refines and iterates to ensure usage and adoption meets desired outcomes
  • Owns and facilitates meetings to drive progress and establishes clear next steps and owners while resolving blockers
  • Proactively assesses risk, raises flags, and resolves issues before they become problems for the larger teams
  • Scales programs and initiatives when necessary


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design operations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, form and present insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, coupled with interpersonal skills to drive and support partnership approach to influence outcomes


The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
