What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICM Sr Analyst Change Impact position at U.S. Cellular?
The ICM Sr Analyst Change Impact role within ISO works with cross-functional teams to ensure that ICM intake requests are appropriately documented, designed, and implemented to best achieve business objectives. This role will be responsible for eliciting, reviewing, documenting, and verifying requests for ICM solutions and enhancements. The ICM Change Impact Sr Analyst will determine if these requests meet the needs of the downstream processes which include the IS and Testing teams. This role will assess new change requests against ICM criteria and validate that the request meets the requirements of policies and approvals necessary to proceed with the Intake Process. In addition, the ICM Change Impact Sr Analyst will be involved in enterprise- wide projects in the early project initiative stages to begin to assess the potential impact to the ICM system.
- Lead and participate in identifying, analyzing, validating, and quantifying new cross-business risk areas and identify solution alternatives for system automation and risk mitigation.
- Perform gap analysis activities between current and future states including data analysis and identification of opportunities for systematic controls and business process improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings for analysis activities such as requirements elicitation, project scoping, process mapping and analysis.
- Define data collection needs from various system interfaces and determine analysis requirements based on business rules.
- Receive requests into the ICM Intake Process and ensure that business requirements are related to business goals and priorities.
- Assure appropriate check points and alignment from key stakeholders are received for pay impacting requests.
- Work with IS business analysts in defining requirements for application systems.
- Assist with the process for prioritizing application system enhancements and defining business requirements for these enhancements.
- Represent ISO on enterprise projects.
- Complete documentation required to support ICM system changes.
- Apply continuous process evaluation and improvement.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by translating requirements into test plans, ensure that the proper testing plans have been created, reviewed, and meet the business and technology testing needs, including execute UAT scenarios.
- Lead strategy creation of Post Production Validation effort.
- Ensure team training materials and process documentation are current. Redesign/update where necessary.
- Maintain continuity between business team and IS organization throughout complete system development life cycle (SDLC).
- Support communication efforts to frontline associates and leadership.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or IT or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years business or systems analysis related work experience required.
- Process mapping experience required.
- Knowledge of business analysis and requirements gathering methods and tools.
- Ability to query and analyze data.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize and drive work activities, manage logistics and tactical details.
- Strong understanding of technology-based tools and processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Business Analyst certification a plus.
- Experience with Operational and customer facing Frontline is highly desirable.
- Management/Leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience with wireless or telecom industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with compensation plans preferred.
