OVERVIEW

The Regional Coordination Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of supervising a team of 10 Regional Coordinators in each of the ACF Geographic Regions. The Regional Coordination Supervisor supports the 10 Regional Coordinators as they coordinate Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP) and Aspire: Child Trafficking Victim Assistance Demonstration program (Aspire) project activities and supports the delivery of case management services throughout the projects’ nationwide network of service providers. The Regional Coordination Supervisor reports to the Associate Director of Trafficking Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, onboard, train, and supervise staff coordinating TVAP and Aspire project activities located in each of the 10 ACF geographic regions;
  • Provide ongoing leadership, direction, development, coaching, counseling, oversight and support to staff to ensure quality provision of services for foreign national survivors of trafficking;
  • Leverage expertise in working with Unaccompanied Children and survivors of human trafficking to assist with streamlining the process of ensuring that clients are quickly linked to services;
  • Ensure child welfare principles and related social work best practices are central components of the program;
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance, resources, policies, protocols, and targeted TTA support related to serving adult and minor survivors of human trafficking across all regions and U.S. territories;
  • Help TVAP and Aspire team manage day-to-day program operations and oversee standards of care and protocols of comprehensive case management services to eligible adult and child foreign-national victims of trafficking;
  • Establish and maintain partnerships to raise awareness, enhance service provider capacity, and build project expertise in serving survivors of trafficking and specialized minor services;
  • Ensure full compliance with OTIP Cooperative Agreement and assist with the quarterly report to funder;
  • Coordinate data collection and contribute to the analysis and reporting of programmatic outcomes;
  • Develop, present and coordinate trainings to build service provider capacity for adult and minor survivors of trafficking, especially in under-resourced or marginalized areas;
  • Identify, leverage, and stay abreast of relevant existing promising practices and tools from a wide range of sources and partners, including ideas developed by survivor leaders, to enhance projects’ resource capability and impact;
  • Work closely with program staff to ensure successful team coordination and program implementation of designated portfolio areas, and contribute to the service delivery protocol, annual strategic programmatic workplan and program policies;
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in the areas of social work, health and social services, international affairs and/or immigration policy, trauma-informed and responsive care, with related technical assistance and training a plus, OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years’ experience in these related fields is required;
  • At least two years’ experience supervising staff or a team is required;
  • Experience working with Unaccompanied Children, victims of trafficking and/or related programs aiming to increase access to critical resources for immigrant and underserved populations is preferred;
  • Excellent judgment and leadership ability; must be able to make independent decisions which ensure that outstanding services are being provided within necessary timeframes, and that the team and team members are complying with all required policies and procedures;
  • Experience in program monitoring, evaluation, and training (design, instruction, measurement of training effects) are a plus;
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources, particularly for individuals without legal status;
  • Ability to prioritize duties independently, think strategically, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred;
  • Dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and displaced people;
  • Candidate must pass a criminal background check;

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Satisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training;
  • Satisfactory completion of programmatic training on an annual basis;
  • Complete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and
  • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).
