As a full service printing company, U.S. Press is seeking motivated offset press operators. Our offset press operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of our 29" four color Ryobi presses. We are hiring both full time and part-time positions. Apply today and join our work family!
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Receives production order from supervisor
Reads and understand job ticket
Verifies all specifications of the order and the required tasks necessary to complete it
Ensures all graphics match the proof on the job ticket
Must accurately log time on all orders produced using our shop floor data collection software
Ensures orders are produced accurately to job specifications
Ensures orders are produced by their deadlines
Able to solve issues as they arise
Ensures the production level of their equipment is optimal
Must demonstrate reliability through attendance, punctuality, and ability to stay in work area
Ensures their work area stays organized and neat
Performs other duties as assigned
Is flexible to work in different departments as needed
Requirements/ Qualifications
Prior experience operating a four color offset press
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to maintain color and registration
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and all levels of management
Must have reliable transportation
