Job Description
Job Title: .NET developer
Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC)
Job Description:
· Qualified developers will have a strong understanding and experience in the development and design of complex systems using advanced capabilities of Microsoft .NET C#.
· The primary emphasis for experience is weighted towards backend development but the ideal candidate will have experience developing applications using Angular 12 .
· This team member will have the opportunity to work on an array of challenging problems and will engage in envisioning and building innovative products and experiences that will push the boundaries of what is currently possible within Nuclear and may have little to no current precedent.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline. In lieu of a degree, 3-5 years of related business experience.
· Work experience in addition to degree: 6-7 years as a software engineer
· Experience developing .NET C#/.NET Core APIs, Entity Framework including SOAP, REST, and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc.) a major plus.
· Strong experience using common frameworks – MVC, MVVM, etc.
· In-depth experience with MSSQL – ability to write queries, stored procedures, and understand how to traverse and analyze existing database structure and data is required.
· Candidates with experience doing development using Angular v12 will be considered first.
· Experience working in an Agile development environment utilizing the Scrum framework.
· Experience turning complex ideas into user stories. From that, can turn user stories into workable solutions, providing estimates to complete that work, and breaking down complex work into smaller components.
