What You’ll Do:
Assigns customer freight loads from Dedicated Accounts to drivers based on driver availability, HOS, and driver schedules.

• Match freight loads with the optimal driver based on review of available loads, available drivers, and customer needs. Ensure drivers on account are receiving equal amounts of driving time.
• Prioritize loads by time schedule and driver availability. Review list of drivers available to accept each load for proximity to pick up location and available hours under DOT regulations.
• Unassign/reassign loads and locate equipment to prevent service failure or minimize service failure impact.
• Assist with scheduling back hauls and salvage pickups based on customer needs.
• Ensure all customer needs are met when assigning freight from distribution centers to customer locations.
• May reassign driver schedules based on customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:
Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ applicable Operations experience required in Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning within the transportation industry.
• AS-400, XPM, and Microsoft Outlook Experience required.
• Previous experience working in a deadline driven environment preferred.

Skills/Certifications

• Knowledge of DOT hours of service and how they apply to a driver.
• Ability to be a self-starter.
• Ability to work in stressful situations.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements – Normal office settings.
