As a Technician II - QA at Houston, Texas, US, you will be trusted to use predetermined methods, operations, set-ups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and complete products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. In this role, a typical day will include: Pulling samples and preparing samples according to work instructions. Using various measuring devices. Accepting, rejecting, and/or reworking defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Working from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. Possibly monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Performing a variety of tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing, to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for the chemical or physical property. Using basic computer skills. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
