Program Summary:
Members will assist Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program with financial literacy programs that increase financial awareness & competencies.
Instructional aide will receive training in the delivery of financial literacy curriculum and ongoing technical assistance will be available through the Take Charge America Institute for Consumer Financial Education and Research (TCAI) at the University of Arizona.
Instructional Aides will have the option to serve their complete term out of one of the four service locations or to serve primarily at the TCAI office in Tucson Arizona with required travel to the service location. 2 Different Term of Services: Part-time for 24 weeks from February through July.
450-hr Living Stipend $4,387.50 - divided up evenly over the term.
450-hr Educational award: $1,678.57 received after finishing term of service
300-hr Living Stipend $2,925 - divided up evenly over the term.
300-hr Educational award: $1,342 received after finishing term of service
Minimum Qualifications & Skill requirements:
- Strong organizational skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Knowledge of computers/technology;
- Ability to travel to and from program delivery locations as needed. Travel to and from program locations will be reimbursed.
