Position Description :
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Location : 502 Building
The Quality assurance coordinator I is responsible for review of donor files and coordinates the release of confidential donor and recipient information to outside agencies.
Performs internal / external audits and assists in replying to audits from outside agencies. The coordinator will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and must demonstrate a responsible attitude toward continued professional growth.

Position Requirements :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Required : Bachelor's or professional degree, i.e., LPN, RN, PA, etc. Previous experience within an organ procurement organization, tissue bank, or the donation industry acceptable in lieu of education requirement.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND / OR REGISTRATION :
Required : N / A
Preferred : Certified Tissue Bank Specialist certification or North American Transplant Coordinators Organization Certification
