ROLE
Uber Freight is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our team to be responsible for developing and maintaining the world class Transportation Management Systems (TMS). The Uber Freight TMS is a large-scale, multilingual and multi-currency SaaS system trusted by many major brands in the US and abroad. For the right person, this is a great opportunity to learn from amazingly talented team members on what works and what doesn’t at high scale and at the same time contribute to over a million lines of code base in multiple applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer support and issue resolution during working hours and when on-call
- Responsible for installation, support and testing PTMS products
- Will develop and execute software test plan, test data and test cases based on software and system requirments
- Maintain existing applications with an eye for improvement
- Ensure code quality, scalability, extensibility exists across all products
- Developing and executing software test plan and scripts
- Work with broader team on architecture, build, release and execution of application delivery to support the current and future business needs including functional feature development, scalability and everyday production support
- Apply solid testing principles, work collaboratively in an energetic team-centric environment
- Support unit testing and develops deployment principles
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of work experience
- Knowledge of SQL language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework
- 1 years in depth database driven application architecture and design
- 2 years of software testing experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operation Systems and SQL server
- Knowledge of SSRS or Tableau
