UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, C & ORC Specialist in Jersey City, New Jersey

We are looking for an Associate Director, C & ORC Specialist to:

• Oversee AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Model Development and Optimization across multiple lines of business (including Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, and Investment Banking) and multiple global Transaction Monitoring Systems.
• Ensure sound risk coverage, adequate quantitative model assessment and validation, and data quality completeness and integrity.
• Work with line of business stakeholders to define requirements and criteria for success and tracking, oversee development and implementation risk-based, effective and efficient AML rules, work with diverse team of systems and analytics professionals based in onshore, near-shore and offshore teams, and engage risk and audit partners to ensure ongoing review and transparency is achieved.
• Provide oversight and guidance to define relevant methodology/approach in clear and concise manner to support model development and optimization efforts and maintain regulatory standards for various AML technologies including segmentation methodology, scenario/rule tuning, methodology, peer grouping, sampling, and above the line (ATL) and below the line (BTL) testing.
• Work with the Data Mining and Analytics teams and Risk Coverage/Governance teams to ensure scenarios/rules are reviewed on regular basis based on level of risk and that the systems are optimized.
• Track and report results of tuning and optimization activities and model performance to AML coverage areas, senior management, and regulators.
• Support all review and audit functions, create model inventory list, and ensure all required models are reviewed.
• Provide appropriate training to bank and unit staff, and to continually assess current and emerging high risk transactional activities via the utilization of innovative analytical methodologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) frameworks and Machine Learning.
