Do you enjoy working directly with the business in advising them on a wide range of legal issues involving fund formation and maintenance as well as investments on behalf of private investment funds?
We are looking for a private investment funds lawyer to:
We are looking for a private investment funds lawyer to:
- provide counsel around private fund formation and lifecycles, including distribution and investment transactions for funds located primarily in offshore jurisdictions and distributed globally
- draft and review the full range of fund documentation, including limited partnership and limited liability company agreements, offering and subscription documents and investment management agreements
- negotiate trading and other documentation required to contract for investment transactions on behalf of investment funds
- stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory developments and manage legal and regulatory risk arising within our businesses
- engage and manage external legal counsel where necessary
- collaborate with colleagues in business functions, including Products, Distribution, Portfolio Management as well as within control functions, including Legal, Tax, Compliance, Risk Control

You will be working in our Asset Management in-house legal team to provide legal and regulatory support with respect to our clients, including funds we establish and manage. We’re responsible for advising colleagues across Asset Management, which is a leading global investment manager.

Your expertise
- lawyer with ideally 4 years of relevant private investment funds experience
- technical expertise and familiarity with regulatory issues including banking and securities laws as well as ERISA
- attention to detail and ability to manage deliverables against deadlines on multiple concurrent projects
- good team player able to collaborate with colleagues located in major financial centers globally
