Provide coordination activities and guidance to The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders (The Center) Clinical Program, specifically around psychological services. The mission of The Center is to provide excellent clinical services for individuals with ASD, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. The Psychology Division Lead will work among a team of professionals including psychologists, behavioral consultants, early intervention providers, educational consultants, speech-language pathologists, medical professionals, social workers, occupational therapists, faculty, graduate students, residents, and pre-and post-doctoral fellows. The selected candidate will actively participate in the planning and execution of the psychology team clinical services at The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The Psychology Division Lead will also provide active clinical services. The employee may provide teaching and consultative services to other professionals, and health care trainees, such as graduate students, residents, post-docs, and practicum students. In addition, the incumbent will provide direct clinical care to the pediatric, adolescent and adult patients, such as assessment and therapy for individuals with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Required:
 
6 years’ experience in working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, and their families. 3 years management and/or supervision experience.
PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology.
Licensed or license-eligible in California.
Ability to utilize computer terminals and computer application software: Windows, MS-Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Strong presentation abilities. Experience presenting in at least 15 workshops or other training situations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; Exercises good judgment in communication with regard to timing, circumstances, place and person. An approach to working with colleagues that enhances collaboration and team building.
Models high standards of professional, responsible, accountable and ethical behavior.
Clinically trained in Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), across all 4 modules.
Licensed or license-eligible in California Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal relations, communication methods, organizational expectations, and competency.
Ability to attend meetings at various campus sites, as well as other community locations, in addition to attending state-wide meetings as needed.
 
Preferred:
 
Proficient in Spanish, and/or Vietnamese (oral and written, using medical and psychological terminology in a sensitive environment). \
Research reliable in Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), across all 4 modules.
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system
 
Special Conditions Required:
 
Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment.
