Under the general supervision of the Director of Finance, the Purchasing and Reimbursement Coordinator is responsible for all contracts, faculty relocations, high value and low value purchasing, for the School of Law. The incumbent will also be responsible for Palcard, UCIBuy, Travel/Entertainment/DV reimbursements, including corporate cards and CTS cards, PCDO reconciliation as well as provide training for new hires in regard to Purchasing and Campus policy. Acts as the department liaison with Central Purchasing and Accounting Office regarding purchasing and accounts payable issues. Provides customer service to faculty, staff, students, outside vendors and other contacts.

$24.66 - $28.34

Required:
Working knowledge of policies, regulations and guidelines concerning procurement utilizing extramural funds; demonstrated understanding of audit/financial implications of procurement transactions.
Working knowledge of Juali Financial System (KFS).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel); ability to work effectively with on-line systems/tools (KFS, Payment Works, etc.).
Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
Ability to function effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively when needed.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to independently prioritize workload to complete duties and meet deadlines in a timely fashion, with periods of frequent interruptions; follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
Strong interpersonal skills; written and oral communication skills and understanding of customer service focus to work effectively with faculty, staff, student employees, vendors, and other campus administrators.
Ability to work with detailed information with a high level of accuracy.
Detailed knowledge of general policies and procedures for purchasing, material management, travel/entertainment/reimbursement, as well as basic accounting principles.
Preferred:
Procurement, Business and Contracts Principles of Purchasing, General Sales Tax Laws. Intermediate level of understanding associated with accounting principles and reporting, e.g. bookkeeping skills.
Special Conditions Required:
Occasional after hours and/or weekends as required to meet deadlines and complete related fiscal closing responsibilities.
