Position Summary:
The incumbent provides high quality customer service to facilitate the framework for scheduling appointments effectively scheduling specialty referral appointments or to make appointment modifications as a result of operational changes. The incumbent works with management to obtain necessary approval(s) and makes changes to EPIC schedules/templates. The incumbent will create EPIC templates for new and established clinical faculty, ensuring that templates align with contractual obligations and established department policies. The incumbent will also possess responsibilities to work in tandem with the I.S. department when creating templates and specific changes to event types and other areas. Provides support as a liaison between Practice Managers, Physician leaders, Patient Access Center staff and all clinical/nonclinical areas within the Medical Center, while applying expert understanding of each clinic's unique scheduling requirements.
