Supervises and oversight of daily clinic operations. Oversight of front/back office operations, daily clinic flow, ensures that internal standards and external regulations are followed. Proposes changes to improve operational efficiencies, resolves system issues, advises on work methods, manages scheduling based on patient volume. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Monitors and partners with staff/providers/PG leadership to align clinic with system goals. Ensures ongoing regulatory rounding is completed, participates in rounding and ensures resolution to identified deficiencies.
Evaluates staff and participates or decides on hiring, performance management, and other human resources matters. May make recommendations to change job descriptions, classifications or propose reorganization of a unit. Assures thorough orientation and training of all staff. Identifies and implements department specific educational opportunities for staff in collaboration with ambulatory administration. Assure work is performed in adherence to patient service standards. Participates on quality improvement teams developing new plans and programs to increase the efficiency of operations and improve integration of diverse clinic functions.Resolves escalated issues and serves as a resource in clinic Performs or supervises revenue management functions including assisting with budgets and providing fiscal transparency to CMDs Daily engagement rounding with patients, staff and providers in clinics. Serves as a daily resource for the entire clinic. Promotes a climate of effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Communicates regularly with management on practice activities and on pertinent operational issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSeven (7) years of related experience, education/training OR A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area plus three (3 ) or more years Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic experience.
Recent ambulatory care supervisory or leadership experience.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Private practice and/or academic healthcare setting experience is a plus.
- EPIC Ambulatory & Optime experience.
- Broad range of Microsoft suite such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Experience developing care teams.
- Knowledge about best billing practices and high level processes.
- Project management experience.
- Lean Training.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $53,600 - $111,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $25.67 - $53.45
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
