DESCRIPTION
Assist with research study on veteran health. Duties will include phone calls with potential study subjects to explain study participation, email links to online questionnaires and provide follow-up with subjects regarding missing data. Modify online questionnaire (using Qualtrics survey software) as requested by the PI. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of interviews and all data collected and assessing the appropriateness of responses. Must be alert to sensitive, personal information and must ensure completeness of data for each interview. Provide assistance with subject recruitment and recruitment tracking. Provide administrative support for development of a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) which will be the product of the surveys. Provide other general research assistance as directed by the PI to include grant and scholarly product administrative tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma and one year of experience, preferably in public contact work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
Strong writing and communication skills with ability to draft letters and memos, using correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, composition, text editing, and excellent proofreading skills.
Demonstrated experience using word processing applications, creating spreadsheets and reports, and entering data into databases and spreadsheets. Experience with Qualtrics survey software or willingness to be trained.
Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize workload.
Demonstrated experience working independently and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to handle repetitive details.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience conducting phone or in-person interviews with research participants relating to medical or psychological studies with ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Demonstrated experience in a biomedical research setting.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $42,553 - $54,225 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $20.38 - $25.97
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
