Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates autologous blood salvaging systems for elective and emergency procedures.
- Provides support during open heart procedures and intra-aortic balloon pump procedures.
- Ensures accuracy of clinical documentation and provides support with intra-aortic balloon pump.
- Provides perfusion laboratory services and required quality controls.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
