RN Acute Care-Bone Marrow Transplant
Summary:\nProvides direct patient care, at a proficient level, using the nursing process\nin accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the\npolicies, values, and mission of the organization.
We are offering a $15,000 sign on bonus for RN's with a minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Responsibilities:\nProvides care in a 24/7 Acute Care environment.\nPlans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment\nto optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.\nMonitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to a\nmultidisciplinary care team. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to\ncoordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and\nspiritual/psychosocial support needs.\nEvaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family\neducation appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.\nEffectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student\nnurses and new hires.\n
The pay range for this position is: $33.08 - $51.27 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible\nemployees based upon organizational and individual performance.

- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills,\n decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must\n be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. \n

- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing\n approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years'\n experience. \n
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. \n
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider \n
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. \n
- ONS Within 1 year of hire. \n

- BLS through the American Heart Association or the\n American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand\n before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of\n hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the\n American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the\n Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is\n only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American\n Heart Association sanctioned course.) \n
