Foundation models have ushered in a transformative era in scientific research, promising unparalleled insights across a spectrum of domains. By automating complex data analysis, these models allow researchers to synthesize vast amounts of information, reveal patterns, make accurate predictions, and even drive new hypotheses. The potential of foundation models extends from fundamental physics to climate science, from biological sciences to astrophysics, positioning them as a keystone in the advancement of scientific understanding. In this project, we will be exploring the use of diffusion models for modeling spat temporal data from fusion and weather domains. Education and Experience Requirements •Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and have completed at least one semester of schooling by the start of the program.
 •Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
 •Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
 •If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test.
