The proposed study addresses an important need to develop an ansatz for constrained optimization problems. For many constrained optimization problems, ansatz design is crucial as we need an efficient ansatz that traverses the solution space without leaving it. Building on our recent development of state preparation circuits inspired by quantum walks, we aim to create specific ansatz for constrained optimization problems. Education and Experience Requirements •Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and have completed at least one semester of schooling by the start of the program. •Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins. •Must possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. •Must be a U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident at the time of application. •If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test.
