Accounting:
Perform a variety of accounting duties according to established policies and procedures. Communicate with staff, customers and agents about Accounts Payable/Receivable matters or issues.
Responsibilities:
- Record and process cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
- Maintain records of invoices, debits and credits
- Verify account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, and from customers
- Resolve valid/invalid or authorized/unauthorized deductions and entering adjusting entries.
- Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit limit.
- Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly statements, verifying totals and or preparing reports
- Assist with legal issues if needed in court
- Resolve discrepancies with billings, invoices and checks
- Run and creating financial reports in Excel
- Perform accounting and organization tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
