DescriptionUnder the direction of the Assistant Director, serve as a Safety Specialist for the UCLA Health Office of Environmental Health & Safety Ambulatory Division. Responsibilities include assisting in implementing and providing support for Environmental Health & Safety programs, including Injury Prevention and Ergonomics support throughout the Faculty Practice Group and Department of Medicine clinical and non-clinical locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Perform injury incident investigations * Conduct ergonomic evaluations and other employee risk reduction functions * Assist in the development of measures to ensure a safe, healthy, and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors. * Work with UCLA Health Injury Prevention Program vendors and participate in equipment selection process as needed. The Office of Environmental Health & Safety Ambulatory Division is responsible for encouraging safe and healthful working conditions for all UCLA Health staff, visitors and patients at UCLA Health facilities. UCLA Health Environment Health & Safety has a wide variety of clinics throughout California ranging from Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. This position is expected to travel throughout various UCLA Health locations as needed. Salary range: $31.03-$65.90
