What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Officer position at UCLA?
Established in 1998, the California Center for Population Research (CCPR) has since been a leading research center for research and training in demography. Supported by NICHD Population Center Infrastructure Grant and UCLA, CCPR is comprised of faculty researchers and graduate student affiliates across campus from various professional schools. CCPR is dedicated to train the next generations of demographers; to conduct rigorous independent research on demography, reproductive and population health.
Under the direction of Executive Director, the program Manager has broad responsibilities in four critical areas of CCPR operations: 1. Human resources; 2. General operations; 3.Event planning and travel coordination; 4. Executive assistance for CCPR Executive Director (ED)and Faculty Directors. The Program Manager manages all aspects of human resources (CHR). The Program Manager is the primary liaison to UCLA campus departments including Graduate Division, the Academic Personnel Office, Office of the Dean of Social Sciences, Corporate Financial Services, Travel Services, Software Central , Facilities Management as well as University academic departments. Program Manager also oversees CCPR research space and space allocation among affiliates. With assistance from graduate student researchers and undergraduate student, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the Center's weekly seminar event, method and development workshops event, and other professional conferences (Summer Institute in Computing Social Science) and meetings. Finally, the
Program Manager provides assistance and support to ED and Faculty Directors in day-to-day operations of CCPR.

Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
