What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, CAAC Operations position at UCLA?
Under the general direction of the Assistant Dean/Executive Director (AD/ED) of the Center for Academic Advising in the College (the Center), the Director of Operations (payroll title of Supervisor 2) is responsible for the general planning, management and implementation of office policies and procedures as well as delivery of services in support of College Academic Counseling (CAC). The Director of Operations oversees the Coordinators for the College Academic Mentors program and the Peer Counseling program, as well as the CAAC Office Manager. The Director of Operations also serves on the leadership team of the Center for strategic planning and oversight, establishing the goals and objectives of the unit and developing programs for the Center. In addition, the Director of Operations acts as an academic advisor as needed and as a resource to advisors in CAC and across the College.
College Academic Counseling is part of the Division of Undergraduate Education within the UCLA College and provides academic advising and related programs and services to approximately 18,000 undergraduates.
