Contracts Administration is responsible for all construction contract and design professional agreement development and document processing for Capital Programs and each of the delegated campus departments (Facilities Management, Housing Administration, Medical Center, Real Estate, Information Technology Services, and Athletics). Contracts Administration oversees contractor compliance and conformity in terms of subcontractor participation, certified payroll and other required documentation; and oversees the resolution of all contract-related disputes: bid protests; bid irregularities, hearings and subcontractor substitutions. The department annually generates more than 900 Construction Contracts and Design Professional Agreements in excess of $750 million in total value.
Under the direction of the Director of Contracts Administration, the Contract Administrator 3 demonstrates professional skills as a seasoned, experienced contract administrator to draft and issue complex and varied contracts. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions, including identifying potential contractors, conducting the bidding process, drafting contract terms, and ensuring compliance with contract terms through contract completion. Provides oversight, guidance, and direction to Contract Administrators and other administrative staff.

2. Minimum four years Contract Administration experience, preferably in design and construction for a public entity.
