Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Build and maintain productive and trusting relationships with each individual who receives services; ensuring that services are provided in a manner that is conducive to growth, skill development, and improved self-esteem.
- Assist in ensuring the achievement of overall program objectives, outcomes, and quality improvement.
- Assist individuals with the scheduling of medical appointments and all follow up recommendations. Ensure that all medical needs of individuals are fulfilled.
- Assist individuals with payment of bills, balancing of checkbooks; monitor/audit individual’s financial records weekly and petty cash reports.
- Coordinate and direct consultation and casework services in a manner that facilitates each person’s maximum growth and development.
- Design specific and unique goal plans for the development of each individual’s growth and attainment of living skills.
- Assist manager to set clear performance, behavior, and attendance expectations with direct reports. Assist manager to provide direct reports with timely feedback, coaching, and guidance to achieve expectations.
- Provide supervision for staff and the daily operations of assigned residential facility.
- Ensure that residential facility complies with Agency, county, and state regulations.
- Review, monitor, and approve all program expenditures, including timesheets, travel reimbursement requests, and other reimbursement requests.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
At a minimum, you’ll need -
• High school Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required. Associate’s Degree or technical certification within a related area preferred. 6 months to 2 years of previous jobs related experience expected. 2 to 5 years of previous job related experience preferred. • A valid driver’s license and 6 months of previous driving experience.
• Access to regular use of a vehicle with valid insurance coverage.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Flexible to work all assigned work schedules including holidays, evenings, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

• Regulatory Compliance (ie. Chapter 51, 2380, 6400).
• Knowledge specific to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and/or the aging population.
