UCP of Central Arizona is seeking a part time Human Resources Recruiter dedicated to our Home and Community Based Services program growth. Position is part time with flexible work performed in office environment or in office, in the community and remote teleworking. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and on-boarding of Home and Community Based Service positions and all of its components that are designed to meet the growth of the program as well as perform general administrative recruitment and onboarding, coordination, and support to HR department as assigned by the HR Generalist in conjunction and in alignment of the Director of Human Resources.
Essential Functions
- Source, post, manage the external platforms for all job openings that are assigned, primarily HCBS.
- Under the supervision of the HR Generalist and in conjunction with HR team members coordinate and execute on all recruitment efforts for the HCBS positions assigned.
- Provide full cycle recruitment for primarily all Direct Care Worker positions and any other vacancies as assigned.
- Maintain tracking of applicants in HRIS systems and applicant tracker Excel spreadsheet, as well as reporting on activity of applicant and sourcing status as required.
- In conjunction and in support of the HR Generalist, assist with coordination, implementation, and administration of first day new hire onboarding twice a month sessions.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure effective communication throughout recruitment, onboarding and hiring process.
- Conduct first contact with qualified applicants, conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, extend offers and manage pre-employment processing for all Direct Care Worker positions.
- Communicate both internally and externally on status on a regular basis as report as needed.
- Must be able to travel to off campus in various locations to recruit, manage career fairs, interact with potential applicants, and onboard new hires when needed.
- Participate in first day new hire onboarding sessions for positions closed when required.
- Ensure accurate and timely attention to all new applicants for open positions
- Conduct efforts for pre-employment processing and file preparation for incoming hires
- Assist with offer preparation, prepare materials needed to hire, and move into pre-employment processing
- Schedule new hire first day and send internal and external communication
- Work closely with the Generalist and Director on all onboarding processes and protocols
- Maintain confidentiality
- Work with hiring managers and program support teams for hiring efforts
- Meet program revenue growth goals for HCBS program by participating in community and program collaborations to attract and acquire talent in HCBS.
- In conjunction with Director of HR, work with program on training and recruitment initiatives to enhance professional growth

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is acceptable with a minimum of three years of verifiable recruiting experience. Preferably health care of human services
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a talent acquisition field. Preferably health care of human services
- Above average computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work in virtual platforms such as ZOOM, Teams, DocuSign electronic administration, Paycom or comparable HRIS systems.
- Must have experience creating, posting and managing recruitment ads on platforms such as Indeed, job boards, etc.
- Must be able to data entry applicant tracking activity for recruitment efforts
- Must be a team player, adaptable and flexible.
- Must have good attendance
- Must be able to multi-task, possess time management skills and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills for both interpersonal and presentation.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to report and present on deliverables when required
- PHR or equivalent certification a plus.
The work environment is primarily in office environment, but eligible for teleworking remote upon supervisor approval and after training. Must be able to work in shared office environment. Must be able to travel to various locations within the valley for recruitment activities, career events, and offsite onboarding. Office environment has ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment.
