Job Responsibilities
- Implement physical education activities aligned with Florida State Standards.
- Support individual student’s motor skills/fitness levels and create adaptations as needed.
- Provide input on goals/objectives and current status for IEPs (as appropriate)
- Utilize various organizational and motivational strategies that promote maximum participation.
- Ensure students learn the relationship between health and wellness with the components of healthy nutrition.
- Conduct required number of physical education classes weekly (150 minutes per class)
- Coordinate Campus Field Day.
- Consult with teachers to ensure behavior plans are carried over during Physical Education instruction.
- Performs other Duties as Assigned

- Experience leading physical education activities for students with and without disabilities
- Knowledge of Basic Physical Education instructional methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of safe practices in classroom and physical education activities.
- Knowledge of basic concepts of child growth and development and developmental behavior characteristics.
Salary : $27,600 - $34,900
