Inside Sales Representative - Commercial SE Territory
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic and fast-growing IT company. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to understand customer needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for technology, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities :
- Generate new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying leads through various channels, such as outbound calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Conduct in-depth research to understand potential clients' requirements, challenges, and industry trends to effectively present our IT solutions and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring achievement of individual and team targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service, and serving as a trusted advisor for their IT needs.
- Coordinate with technical experts and engineers to address customer inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
- Keep accurate records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge and identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Onboard customers to UDThub / UDTXchange platform.
- Maintain customer price files and bundles if applicable.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Understand how to accurately build hardware / software / subscription and configurations based on industry standard best practices.
- Attend meetings in person or via phone if remote, to further build relationships with sales team.
- Complete Partner Product accreditations when applicable.
- Maximize GP of customer standards and transactional business
- Have a high sense of urgency to go above and beyond to provide an extraordinary customer experience.
- Essential Functions :
- Prepares and distributes product configurations and customer quotes utilizing on-line tools.
- Provides accurate and timely ordering of products via our internal systems.
- Direct interaction with customers to provide order status updates, quotes and or other requests.
- Check for all applicable rebates and promotions ensuring maximization of GP.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or equivalent field experience (preferred).
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of IT products, solutions, and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and opportunities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt and respond to changing customer needs.
- Availability to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
