Electronics Assembler

Description

Responsibilities & duties including but limited to:

  • Light mechanical box build assembly
  • Secondary operations component mounting and soldering. (Through-hole)
  • Final assembly packing/shipping (typical assemble is roughly 1lb)
  • Conformal coating – TYPE AR, UR, SR
  • Follow technical instructions precisely, interpreting and understanding documents
  • Maintain inventory of various parts and tools used in the assembling process
  • Follow company procedures, directives, and safety guidelines
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to operate soldering machines
  • Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Familiar with ICP-610 Acceptability of Electronics Assembies Certification preferred (On-site training provided)
  • Familiar with J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronics assemblies preferred Industry standard (On site Training provided)
