Job Opening Summary
Reports to the Systems Application Manager. The Applications Analyst II must have a clear understanding of systems functionality and/or departmental processes as they relate to the supported system/application(s). Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required for interpreting and distributing documentation related to systems/application functionality, upgrades and enhancements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering systems limitations. May be responsible for leading multiple phases of a project. Duties may include instructing system users on workflows. Must be able to work both independently and as a team member in a solution-oriented, customer-focused environment.
Job Opening Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
Degree in an applicable field (Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, etc.).
Required Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in application support or application training
Preferred Experience:
Three (3) years' experience with analysis, content building and project management in the applicable application or Epic module.
Required Licensure(s)/Certification(s):
If Analyst is hired into a role which supports an Epic application, effective October 1, 2012: EPIC certification is required within 6 months of date of hire/transfer into position, or within three attempts at passing the exam. New version training (NVT) is required every time a new Epic version is release and must be maintained. Periodic re-certification is required by Epic every 3-5 years/version releases; NVT and/or re-certification are required for analyst to maintain their certification and to maintain position within IT.

Technical certification(s)
Necessary Skills:
1. Ability to work autonomously in a high production environment which can be stressful.
2. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
3. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Must have basic understanding/experience relative to PC's.
