Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our company. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors.
You will be tasked with monitoring and patrolling company premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and security breaches
- Ensure that all company security protocols are followed and adhered to
- Provide a visible and reassuring presence to deter criminal activity and help maintain order
- Respond quickly and appropriately to any security-related incidents
- Conduct security checks of employees and visitors as necessary
- Ensure that all company assets, equipment, and property are secure
- Work with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
- Communicate effectively with other security personnel and company management
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a security guard or similar role
- Excellent observational and surveillance skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
