The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for the accurate design of wall panels for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Design metal plate-connected wood trusses and Wall Panels utilizing Mitek software Optimize designs for maximum efficiency Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting Performs other duties as required Qualifications Minimum high school graduate Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in Wall Panel Design Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangars Compensation & Benefit Information: $45,000 - 65,000 annually Bonus/Incentive Pay: A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
