Nurse Educator, DVH
United Health Services is seeking a Nurse Educator to join our Training 09 department at DVH in Walton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$33.57 - $51.39 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview
Nurse Educators provide educational experiences that facilitate the promotion of competent nursing practice and quality patient care. They facilitate the orientation for new nursing employees and assist in their assimilation into a new role. Nurse Educators support nursing staff members in their efforts in knowledge and skill acquisition and professional development.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
- Three (3) years Nursing Practice experience in a clinical setting.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Previous teaching experience
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- CPR within 3 months of hire
Preferred:
- Professional nursing certification in Professional Development
- Professional certification in another nursing area
