RN NICU, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a RN NICU to join our department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift All Shifts Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience. The NICU consists of 14 beds for newborns in need of critical care. Work alongside many DAISY Award winners in our close knit, team driven environment. Help provide families the support they need while watching the patients progress and be a part of their success story! You will also have the opportunity to cross train with L&D, Maternity, and the Newborn Nursery. Qualifications Schedule: 12 hour shifts; 7AM-7PM days and evenings, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays, and on call requirement Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Continuously assess condition of critical newborns Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed Assisting with feeding, providing family support, and collaborating with healthcare team Administering medications as prescribed by physicians Qualifications: A valid RN license Critical care/NICU experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team About United Health Services United Health Services is a not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 500,000 people in Upstate New York’s Southern Tier region.
