Responsibilities

Calling all LPNs!  We just increased our hourly rate $3!  Earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus while serving the kids of our community!

 

Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health is looking for a dynamic LPN.  If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you! 

 

 

Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center is a 97-bed facility located in Springfield, Illinois.  We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We are the only facility of our kind in Central Illinois! We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

The LPN is a member of the in disciplinary team who assists in total patient care through implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches and related nursing function within therapeutic environment. The LPB is responsible for carrying out assigned functions according to philosophy, goal and objectives of the hospital and program unit.

 

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois Current AHA BLS Certification required. Experience: Prefer one (1) year experience as a LPN. Prefer six (6) months in psychiatric nursing. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration. Additional Requirements / Nursing Skills: Demonstrate leadership, communication, teaching and management skills..
