The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County. The Admission Counselor provides telephonic and in person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines for appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. The ARC Counselor maintains responsibility for phone management and completion of the admission process by effectively communicating cases to the Shift Coordinator.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience working in Mental Health setting
- Masters in Counseling, Psychology or Human Services required; RN License Preferred
- Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/ aggressive behavior. General hospital environment.
- Must be willing to work with children, and adolescents
- Knowledge of group therapy processes, therapeutic, processes
- Knowledge of age specific growth and development
- Knowledge of addiction issues
- Knowledge of limit setting and behavior management, crisis management
- Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
