The UHS Corporate Acquisition Department is looking for a dynamic Associate Financial Analyst.
The Associate Financial Analyst performs day to day tasks on strategic engagement processes, including collection, review and analyses of information and due diligence, primarily focused on physician practice acquisitions and ambulatory expansion.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assists Project Managers in the evaluation of acquisition opportunities and other strategic relationships
- Evaluates the accuracy of the financial information received, makes appropriate performance accounting adjustments, and analyzes historical financial and operational trends and metrics
- Manages the day to day processes associated with tax benefit programs on development projects
- Interact directly with outside partners and constituents
Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent knowledge acquired by working experience and training.
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, as well as financial statement and basic valuation concepts and practices
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, numerical facility and analytical abilities
- One or more years in accounting, finance or financial analysis. Experience performing due diligence is a plus. CPA and health care experience preferred
- Domestic US travel up to 10%
