What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Quality/PI position at UHS?
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Director of Quality/PI to Lead and direct all quality management activities for the hospital including patient care and relations, Joint Commission compliance, quality, and performance improvement. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. The position is responsible for providing direction, leadership and coordination in all areas involving quality and performance improvement. Develops strategic plans and policies for improved quality throughout SummitRidge Hospital and works with staff to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Works collaboratively with and provides direction to staff in the delivery of quality clinical services. Supervises: Performance Improvement activities of all Performance Improvement Committee members.
SummitRidge Hospital –is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens).

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related clinical area preferred, plus three years of recent experience in a related capacity.
- Currently professional licensure preferred.
- Familiar with nursing theory of practice, educational theory, continuous quality improvement principles, and information management including data collection, and analysis, use of graphs and statistical process control.
