We are currently looking for a qualified PRN Driver to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The Driver provides patient transportation to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. This will include pickup and drop off of patients attending group activities, transporting patients discharging from the hospital, as well as occasional local program activities. Occasional airport transport may also be required.The driver is responsible for the non-mechanical upkeep of van, ensuring cleanliness inside the vehicles, reporting damage and mechanical problems for repairs.
Job Requirements
Position Requirements: A highs school diploma or GED is required. 2 -3 years of experience in patient/client transport with a valid class specific Florida driver's license applicable to transporting patients and a driving record which meets or exceeds the facility's driving standards.
