Responsibilities

(This role has a hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days flex-remote)

The UHS GME Department is hiring a Grants Intern to perform support tasks to improve healthcare quality and safety, improve patient care, and engage patients and their families in their healthcare.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Prepare a comprehensive federal grant application for submission in March 2023
• Identify local and state specific grant opportunities
• Develop and/or update RFP outlines for new opportunities
• Assist with developing and maintain a UHS Readiness Assessment Smartsheet and compiling administrative data for all UHS facilities

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master’s degree or a related degree from accredited college or university.

• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications ‘
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
